Ushodaya Mahila Sangham (UMS) is a community organisation in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh state in India. Registered in 2011 under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001, the CO works with vulnerable female sex workers.

The CO provides services to 1379 female sex workers to empower them through access to social protection, financial, safety, security and justice and health services.


UMS aims to create a HIV free society by empowering its sex worker members through access to social protection schemes, financial inclusion, safety, security, justice and HIV services.

Services Provided

UMS provides a host of services to cater to its mobilised group of vulnerable female sex workers.
