Pratibha Mythri Mahila Seva Sangham (PMMSS) is a community organisation working to empower female sex workers in Ananthapuramu district in Andhra Pradesh State in India. It focuses on creating awareness on rights among sex worker women and strengthening their abilities to address crises. PMMSS is a district level federation of community based groups spread across Kadiri block.
PMMSS is registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001 and supports 952 members.
PMMSS aims to be a community organisation working actively to provide services to its members and ensuring saturated coverage of all sex worker women in its geographical area of work.
True to the meaning of it's name, 'efficient women's group for community development', PMMSS supports female sex workers in through diverse activities.
PMMSS aspires to provide complete awareness on HIV to its members, prevent the second generation of girls from entering the sex trade, establish old age homes for older sex workers and enable access to government schemes and entitlements for all its members.
