Pragathi Mahila Sangam (PMS) is a community organisation (CO) working for the welfare of female sex workers in rural and urban areas of Guntur district, in Telengana State in India. It was started with the objective of empowering community most at risk to HIV/AIDS and supporting HIV positive children. PMS was formed in 2004 with the support of the non-governmental organisation, Kothapet Mahila Mandali. The CO has 56 community based groups out of which 14 groups are engaged in savings activities.
PMS supports 1350 female sex workers and is registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act 2001.
PMS aims to improve the standard of life of its members through social protection, by buidling financial security and addressing crises.
